The "Schools for Tomorrow Blog" author wants his Obama campaign donation back if Linda Darling-Hammond becomes Secretary of Education.

    He says:

"We desperately need federal leadership to help cities and states defy the gravity of our entrenched public school system, and create a new construct of public education where every student is really able to reach his or her potential.

"[Linda] Darling-Hammond has been a great Stanford and Columbia Teachers College professor with a long vita, many writings and accomplishments.  But she is hardly an education reformer.  She has often been on the wrong side of the debates - on the quality new schools movement, school choice, teacher education or school accountability."
